Hey Girl!

Since Valentines day is right around the corner...and MY Hunk is pretty darn special...

and because I know he's gonna love me plastering his face all over this blog...

I've decided to join in the on the
"Hey Girl"
fun!

If you're in the loop...you've seen the Hey Girl Memes with Ryan Gosling over on Pinterest?

Me...not really in the loop I guess...I had no idea about them until I popped in on Sharon at
this morning and found out about the Hey Girl Linky party over at
 view along the way

It looked like to much fun not to participate!

Let me just say...if you need a good laugh today...head on over and check out all of the links...some are quite clever...and very comical!

So Bob...this is for you...cause I love you...you're my hunk...and you're such a trooper and you put up with all my shenanigans...

and besides...

you're not here to stop me!

What a guy...all his "Trophy's" are in the basement...
while I have all other 15 rooms for my "addiction"!

Yeah Baby and their comfortable too!

Last but not least...

and because according to him...we've lost square footage due to all of the layers of paint on our walls!

Smile Bob!
You're on candid camera!

I love you!

Buddy Boo Recovered Pictures 1

Spending the morning at the park with Buddy Boo

Simple Pleasures!

we crawled through the mouth's of animals

and we were swinging...

we played music...

we played dress up...

We went on the slides

Grandpa got into the action too!

We rode dinosaurs...

We drove a choo choo train...

We looked through a porthole

We threw rocks off the bridge into the water...

"I very love the bridge Grandma!"
(said with the total excitement of a 2 year old)

Ok...so whilst at the park...I decided to go on the slide with Buddy Boo, when suddenly my big booty seemed to get lodged...
not that BIG yellow slide...
NO...
the one I was on was red...and it was a
TEENY TINY, ITTY BITTY slide!
Geeze you'd think they made these slides for 2 year olds or something!
Now Buddy Boo and I were holding hands...
and I was trying to keep up with him
as he was moving at a much faster pass then I...
due to some neighborhood prankster oiling his side of the slide,
while putting glue on mine!

That had to be it!

you little hooligan

but I was booty walking running down the slide...trying to keep up...when suddenly my rubber soled flip flopped foot, stopped...and my booty kept going, until slamming into the back of my flip flopped foot...now the back of my foot...has not been able to reach this booty of mine for about 32 years...and it should have not done so this day either! Thank goodness, I am the one usually taking the pictures, and this sight was not captured  on camera!

I limped for several days afterward...

It was worth it...

Besides...I work for an orthopedic surgeon...

What a beautiful day...
at a beautiful park...
beautiful memories...
simple pleasures!

We love you "sooooooo" much Buddy Boo!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Recovered pictures, lasting memories

My 2 year old grandson, going on 5

A beautiful day to enjoy the park

Simple pleasures, like a swing and a slide

Last but certainly not least!
God is blessing us all with a new baby…
Buddy Boo will soon be a big brother!!!

Peace, I leave with you

Richard has been sick for many years.

He was diagnosed with Leukemia about 10 years ago

He had a bone marrow transplant

The cancer was gone...but his body rejected the transplant

what he has had to go through and endure these 10 years has been horrible!

Through it all, I never heard him complain one single time

Through it all he loved the Lord

Through it all he praised the Lord

Tonight he's home and with the Lord!

Please lift his family up in prayer!

A fun day with Buddy-Boo...

Little Buddy-Boo came to spend the day with Gramma...
Buddy-Boo is my oldest sons child...and my first born grandchild (by 3 whole weeks!)
He turned 2 at the end of August.

Everything we have in this world is a gift from God, but grandchildren have to be the best gift of all!
Each of my 3 little guys are so unique...
with their own little personalities...
and I am enjoying getting to know each one of them as these personalities develop right before my eyes.

Buddy Boo is an active little thing...after all...he is 2!

Here he is at the Christmas tree...

Playing with the ornaments...talking to them...
with the magic of Christmas....
Well...I just know I heard Frosty asking for some hot cocoa!

We went outside for awhile...we had to feed and play with Trapper...

No we don't feed our dog coffee...that is our fancy smancy dog food scooper!

We played kickball...

We picked up sticks...

We ran around amongst the pines...

Oh...the pines...
that reminds me Buddy-Boo...
Gramma wants to make a fresh wreath for the front door...lets stop and cut some...

then let's plop down into the middle of the prickly pile...ouch Gramma!

on our way back up the basement stairs, Buddy Boo found something that Grampa left there...
"What's that Buddy Boo"?

"Piggy Food" says Buddy Boo...

so he's saving it for his Piggy!

Talking to the ornaments again...

Time for a snack...

I found a cute idea for Christmas Rice Krispie Treats here

What better time than now...
so off to Walmart for the supplies...

now lets get started...

oops....we're a little messy Buddy Boo!

Now for the fun part!

Oh Yeah!  Sugar Fingers are soooo good!

Mommy and Daddy are gonna love Gramma!
sugar, sugar, sugar!

Gramma LOVES sugar Kisses!

Smooch!

Here are our little Christmas Master pieces...

Good enough to eat...cute enough to hang on the tree!!

Had a great day Buddy Boo...come see Gramma again soon!

Still Counting my Blessings:

A very nice Thanksgiving with family coming together from 3 different states!

Hearing “I Love you sooo0 much!”
from a 2 year old, 20 times in 1 day

A pair of green frog boots…loved by both 2 year old grandsons…picked up at a yard sale for 1.00…that are  perfect for those muddy areas on our property!

I am blessed by my children who are doing awesome jobs  at raising their children

A daughter in law, that inspires me in spite of the tough time and great sadness she is experiencing
(I will post about that possibly tomorrow)

Please go hug someone you love today and tell them
“I love you soooo much!”
No one is guaranteed  tomorrow...so make sure to do it today!

I love you soooo much!
God Bless!

There are no words to describe what you're about to see. It's all about HIM!

A Son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?" The father who, despite having a heart condition, says "Yes". They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons. The father always saying "Yes" to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his fater, "Dad, let's join the Ironman together."

To which, his father said "Yes".

For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island.

Father and son went on to complete the race together!
