Your opinion matters!

These rooms all have it...

Surely your eyes are drawn to it...just like mine are!

I'm thinking I love it....
but I don't make decisions well...I'm finding out!

Mediterranean Dining Room

Do you have it?

I mean...literally...do you have it in your home?

You figured it out didn't you...
these rooms all have walls...
different colored walls...

JUST KIDDING!
Don't go scrolling back to look at the walls...
...it's the white slip covers!...

I am so drawn to them...

I love change...
I want options...
I want different colored pillows on a whim...
I love how said pillows POP on the white...
I don't want to be stuck with
a gold couch ever again!!
I want rustic one day...
cottage the next...
refined the next...

*Sigh*

What to do??
I think this might be perfect
for my ever changing mind...

but I'm scared...

Scared of them being a pain to wash...
scared of having to wash them to often...

I drip coffee all of the time you know...

scared of them looking wrinkly and messy (although comfy!)

I threw a white sheet over my current sofa...and thought         "It looks like I'm about to paint"...

not exactly the look I'm going for...

I just don't know...
whats your thoughts??

Just for the record...it's dining chairs too...
I'm just hooked!

Please give me your honest thoughts...
I'm strong...
I can take it!

ok...
but tell me anyway!

Sharon

P.S.  They even have slip covers...for the slip clovers...so when you get tired of the white...just buy a new color!

Finally...a little before and after!

It's been a long time since I've posted anything...I've worked on things a little here, and a little there. but no time to finish many projects...and really NO time for blogging about them anyway.  It's been a rough time for our family...first with my sister finding out she had breast cancer last year...and just as she was finishing up her treatment...and doing excellent I might add...it became apparent that my parents were no longer able to stay in their home alone...and we have had to bring in 24/7 care for them. I have been traveling home (about a 6 hour drive) every other weekend for a quite a while now...on top of a full time job...it has been pretty overwhelming. Recently I was given the opportunity to go part time at work, and I have decided to take it! This will help with my trips home...and give me a bit of my life back!
I am super excited about that...and hopefully I will be able to get on a somewhat regular blogging schedule again!

So...all of that being said...It was just one short year ago (ha!) that I posted this post, about changing my kitchen up a bit.
I thought it was finally time to have a before and after for one of the most dramatic changes that took place in my kitchen...

and here it is...

of course there were a few steps in between...

we removed this cabinet...

and hung it in the laundry room...

Completely just closed off the this...

I mean...who needs food anyway...
it's all about the design right?

so goodbye pantry!...

Ok...so I guess we need some area designated for food...

so let's turn this coat closet...also in my kitchen...

into a pantry...

We can't forget about the floors...

that after much stress and anxiety were finally picked out..

and installed...

and I have to share the fact that we have lived with this for
months and months and months!!

Until finally...

I have a before and after to share...

It might only be this small little section...

from my entire 1st floor...

but it's done...
and I love it...

for now...

cause I stole that mirror from over my bed...which you can see here

and I'm thinking I might need a shelf or 2 over this buffet???

But for now...

from this...

to this...

so...please tell me what you think!

Does it take forever for you to get things done?
To pick out floors?
to pick out paint colors?

Am I the only one???

I pray your family is happy and healthy...
