White Bean Chicken Chili & Carmel Dip

Hi Ya'll
(said like Paula Dean)

Well, Paula Dean I am not...I really don't like to cook all that much...and since my kids are now grown, well I just don't do it very often...but when I do, I want it to be quick, easy and tasty!

The recipes I'm sharing today are on sale...
2 for the price of 1 Ya'll
Home cooked - Fast food!

I made these this week for a pitch-in at work...so the pictures were taken lickity-split on my way out the door, so there are only a few and they just ain't worth a lick!
well that's my excuse...
I really need me a good photography class!

Anyway...on to the recipes!

White Bean Chicken Chili

2 lbs cooked cubed chicken
48 oz great northern beans, drained
2 cups shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
2 cans chicken broth
1 jar of salsa (mild, med, or hot your choice)
1-2 tbs chili powder (adjust to taste)

Combine all ingredients in crock pot and cook on low 4-8 hours

Before serving dollop with sour cream

Quite frankly this is the best White Chili I've ever had, and it's always a hit!

Next Ya'll
on to the sweet stuff!

Caramel Dip

Cream Cheese
Caramel (I use the type for apple dipping)
Chopped Health Heath bar
(lol! Thanks Michelle from
 the nest at finch rest)
pretzels, graham crackers, fruit or whatever...
for dipping

layer first 3 ingredients in the order listed,
in a pie plate...
done...
start dippin!

Hey Ya'll, just look at that gooey goodness!

so until next time,
 Ya'll take care!

  1. YUM I must try that soon - thanks!

ALSO, I presume you meant HEATH bar not HeaLth bar in that incredibly decadent yumminess of a dip, haha. I only wish it were healthy, lol!

    Have a great weekend.

  3. Those both look amazing. Thanks for your comment on my French table and Chairs. I think you should paint yours. Caning looks great even if you paint it.

  6. I wanted to fix the chili today but I didn't have the beans. I was too busy stripping wallpaper and didn't want to go out. Did you know you are a no-reply blogger? I don't have your email address. The reason you aren't getting my updates is because there's a problem with my blog and I can't seem to get it fixed.
