Sure signs of Spring...

There’s a spring in my step...
 there’s spring In the air…
there’s blossoms, and children
 and bunnies everywhere…

There’s weeds to be picked…
there’s flowers to plant…
I’m having some trouble 
with my pest...friend the ant!

There’s shutters to paint…
the front door too…
I should finish the dining room…
but it’s more fun talking to you…

So just for a moment…
I need to share…
these signs of spring…
I see everywhere…

Flowers are coming up too...

A new mantel to show you...

the tulips died...

orchids and a bunny...

on my mantel now reside...

well they withered as well...

so I replaced them with fake green plants...

I picked up on sale

now this picture is bad...

even picmonkey's at a loss...

but I wanted to show you...

after all...I'm the boss

loves the Caribbean...and is able to vacation there every year!...you can take  the girl out of the Caribbean, but you can't take the Caribbean out of the girl.  She has a beautiful home in Jersey...and you can see those Caribbean  touches everywhere!

Picnik Replacement!

If you're like me...you've been crying over Picnik's impending closure. 

 I'm talkin literal tears over here!

 I only just discovered Picnik a month or so before the big announcement that google was closing it down, and I have grown very fond of it very quickly!

So I have been searching for something I like as well...and had not been successful...and I have tried several...but last night I heard the angels singing... Halleluiah!

have created another great photo editor!  It is very similar to Picnik...it looks very familiar...but it seems even easier to use...and has great features!

Right now it is free to use...though as they continue to add more features and continue to improve it, they will...I'm sure...add a fee... for at least the advanced options...just like Picnik did. Right now the collage is not available, but it's coming soon.


Maybe you have excellent photography skills...or have a very expensive photo editing program...
I have neither of these!


This program is very good, and I am so excited about it!

Tulip Time Spring Mantel

Sunny and 76 degrees here today!!


What??  

This is Indiana!

average temps for March are 32-51 degrees

What does this mean for us Hoosiers? 

Will it be a 100 degree, hot, humid summer?

Beginning in April??


Is there still another blizzard hanging out in shadows...

just waiting to make it's surprise entrance?

Who knows?

Right now I'm just thankful for the gorgeous weather God is blessing us with! 
So Spring Fever is abundant around here!

I love tulips...Spring flowers of all kinds...
but again good ole Kroger...
had the tulips...
3 bunches for 10.00...
you just can't go wrong!

The boxwood balls, I bought at Hobby Lobby

The brown wicker balls, I already had...and keep using them...I guess I'll keep em!

 these tulips are just springing up all over the place

The mantel looks so cheerful!

It makes me happy!

At Vase Value

This morning as I stalked my regular blogs...

I saw that is was time for 

Debbiedoo's Copy Cat Party

Darn!

 I didn't have anything ready...

 or even in mind...

and I had a list a mile long of things I wanted to get accomplished today...

so I just kind of forgot about it...

 and went about my business.

Then...while in my creative junk space...looking for a stencil...I happened upon this...

I said to myself...

"Self" (as I thumbed through the pages) you really need to clean out this room...and get rid of some of these old magazines"

Then I saw this....

I knew I was hanging onto these for a reason...

today is the reason!

I can do this...I can Copy Cat this!

Yes...it's the kitchen window...again

And yes I have posted many a post looking though this window...and last time I went to the copy cat party I did this window! You can see that  here 

BUT...

I'm inspired...

I can go to the party!! 

Without thinking...

without leaving the house...

without buying a thing...

(thank you self, for picking up all of those 

cool little jars at yard sales last summer!)
